The Estate Management Conference is this Week!

The Estate Management Conference is this Week!

The Estate Management Conference is finally here! This week we will gather in Los Angeles to connect as colleagues and to strengthen the foundation of our profession. It is always meaningful to share time with peers who understand our work and who bring their own experience and knowledge to the conversation.

This year’s theme is resilience. Our sessions will look at the ways Estate Managers can plan for challenges, respond to emergencies, and build structures that support recovery. These are important discussions for every household and the  professionals who serve them. The program has been designed to balance learning with opportunities for conversation, and I am eager to hear the perspectives each of you will bring.

To help you prepare for the event, we created an attendee guide with an overview of the event.. You will also find local dining notes and tips for exploring the West Side of Los Angeles during your free time. The guide also highlights the contributions of our sponsors, partners, and volunteers. Their support has made this gathering possible, and their participation adds depth to the resources available throughout the conference. I encourage you to take advantage of every chance to meet them and to learn about the ways they can support your emergency planning.

*Please note, we have an outdoor courtyard setting this year for our talks and lunch. It should be beautiful weather, however, please keep in mind that it may be 65° in the morning and 75° by mid-day. A light sweater or jacket would be appropriate. All events are business casual attire.

I look forward to welcoming you later this week. Thank you for making the commitment to attend and for adding your voice to this community. Together we will shape a stronger, more prepared private service community and return home with ideas and tools that will make us more effective and successful Estate Managers.
