Save the Date – EMC25

Save the Date – EMC25

The past 6 months have brought unprecedented natural disasters that tested Estate Team’s emergency plans, resource coordination, and operational infrastructure in ways that few could have anticipated. Despite challenging circumstances, Estate Managers faced every crisis head-on, using our shared expertise to problem-solve, mitigate damage, and maintain operations at the highest standards possible under extreme pressure. The importance of preparation, adaptability, and solid leadership, has never been more evident.

The lessons learned from managing these crisis events have reinforced the need for clear estate policies, reliable systems, practiced responses, and strong resource networks; elements that allow estate teams to function at their best, regardless of external pressures.

They have also inspired the programming for the 2025 Estate Management Conference – The Resilient Estate: Building a Playbook for Emergency Response and Recovery. This immersive event, slated for September 12, 2025, will focus on strengthening the systems that Estate Managers rely on; equipping them with the tools to identify estate vulnerabilities, build structured emergency plans, and deliver an effective response. Through a series of lectures and hands-on learning labs led by industry leaders, Estate Managers will gather the essential elements to create a customized plan for executing a coordinated emergency response and recovery process.

We invite the community to recommend their most trusted safety and security resources and industry experts to participate in the conference. Creating a Punch List

A punch list is a document that outlines the remaining tasks or issues that need to be addressed before a project is considered complete. It typically includes minor repairs, touch-ups, and other small items that must be finished or corrected before the project can be officially closed out. We have created a template to organize the process.
