Spanish-speaking ROTA Nanny

Schedule: ROTA (Live-in while on rotation)
Compensation: $110,000–$165,000 DOE + benefits

Walsh Signature Staffing is seeking an experienced and polished Spanish-speaking ROTA Nanny to join an UHNW Russian-speaking family based in Oakland, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is warm, confident, and highly skilled in providing exceptional care within a formal, fast-paced household. This role requires fluency in Spanish, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of discretion, structure, and professionalism in private service.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally mindful care to the family’s children, ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the co-ROTA nanny and household staff to maintain continuity of care and daily routines.
• Incorporate Spanish language immersion through conversation, play, and activities to support bilingual development.
• Plan and facilitate enriching activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and emotional growth.
• Manage daily schedules, including school routines, extracurricular activities, and bedtime.
• Oversee children’s wardrobe organization, packing/unpacking for travel, and general upkeep of children’s spaces.
• Travel domestically and internationally with the family when required.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of full-time experience as a nanny in an UHNW or fully staffed household.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (additional Russian language skills are a plus).
• Experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children within a structured setting.
• Comfortable with a 1–2 week ROTA schedule (live-in while on duty).
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and passport; able and willing to travel.
• Professional demeanor, excellent judgment, and a calm, intuitive presence.
• Must be proactive, organized, and able to anticipate family needs.
