Male Server/Butler

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Male Server/Butler to assist a client in the West Village.   The role will encompass formal and informal F&B and Butler service.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and hospitality to the Principal and their guests and be adept at carrying out tasks calmly, efficiently, effectively, and with initiative.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of service including formal and informal F&B service and guest reception, ensuring the highest level of service and hospitality is provided to the Principal and their guests
• Maintenance of silverware, glassware, tableware, china, and linens
• Work closely with the housekeeping team and perform housekeeping tasks
• Collaborate with House Manager and work closely with household staff, including chefs, housekeepers, gardeners, and other support staff
• Work with the Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee household inventory
• Ensure that all areas of the estate are kept clean, tidy, and in good working order always
• Foster a positive working environment and maintain open lines of communication with staff and the Principals to ensure that their needs are met and that the estate is functioning smoothly
• Deal with any issues or problems that may arise and take appropriate action to resolve them
• Provide valet service to the Principal, pack and unpack, etc.
• Potentially travel to Principal’s Los Angeles residence
• Additional duties as requested
  This is a full-time position:
• Sunday – Thursday
• Must have flexibility to work weekends when needed
• $50 hourly DOE

Requirements:

• Must live in NYC or be willing to relocate to NYC
• Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role for high-profile clients and proven longevity
• Experience in high-end service
• Excellent eye for detail, knowledge of housekeeping and laundry
• Tech savvy with knowledge of AV equipment, Apple TV, and Crestron systems
• Ability to work independently and under instruction of the House Manager
  Demonstrates enthusiasm, dedication to responsibilities, and a positive demeanor
• Professional, discreet, and well- presented
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Certifications in butler service, wine service, or other hospitality-related fields are preferred, but not
