Seeking a full-time Laundress for a high-profile individual in New York City. The candidate should be someone with a demonstrated history of working in elite environments who can begin immediately. The Principal’s primary residence is in NYC, though travel to a second residence in LA is frequent. It would be helpful if candidates are open to traveling here from time to time, though this is not a deal breaker.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Perform all laundry duties for the household
- Washing, drying, organizing, and maintaining garments and linens
- Professionally fold and organize wardrobes and linens
- Hand-wash delicate items when required
- Steam, press, and provide expert fabric care
- Maintain a highly organized laundry operation within the home
- Occasionally prepare light meals and snacks for the Principal
This is a full-time position:
- The schedule will be 9 am-5 pm, 5 days per week
- Days off switching up during the Summer (when days off will likely be Saturday and Sunday) and the rest of the year (when days off will likely be Tuesday and Wednesday)
- $45/hour+
PTO, federal holidays, and healthcare
Requirements: - At least five years of experience in high-profile households and with UHNW families
- Must have exceptional, verifiable past work references
- Comfort working around luxury brands, couture garments, and fine fabrics
- Proven discretion and professionalism.
