Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous, full-time housekeeper/family assistant for a beautiful home in Tarrytown, serving a lovely family with two young children. The ideal candidate will bring a professional yet warm demeanor, strong attention to detail, and experience maintaining high-end properties. Please be comfortable with a large (and very sweet) dog. We are looking for someone who will become part of the family and run with full autonomy yet also follow the principals lead.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate must possess extensive experience in luxury home maintenance, including daily care of oak floors, marble surfaces, and high-traffic areas. Responsibilities include comprehensive cleaning, laundry management, wardrobe maintenance, pantry organization, and bathroom detailing. Additional duties involve managing vendor relationships, handling deliveries, coordinating with gardeners and pool maintenance, and occasional light meal preparation or childcare support. Must be physically capable of navigating a 4,000 sq ft home with three floors, tech-savvy with Mac devices, and comfortable around a Weimaraner. We seek someone who brings a positive, organized approach to their work. Experience with high-security protocols and luxury home standards is essential. The family maintains meticulous organization systems, and the housekeeper will be expected to uphold these standards while bringing their own systematic approach to home maintenance.
