Full Time Family Assistant

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, adaptable nanny for a wonderful family of six with four children. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic household environment where flexibility and reliability are essential. The family often has a parent at home, but the nanny will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively depending on daily needs. While the three older children attend school full-time, the youngest attends part-time, making them the primary focus during school hours. Required Skills:
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional adaptability in managing both childcare and household responsibilities. They must be comfortable working with minimal direction, taking initiative with tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up spaces throughout the day. Experience with multiple children under age 10 is required, as is strong swimming ability due to a backyard pool. The nanny should be well-versed in positive reinforcement techniques, redirection methodology, and empowering children through choices. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential for helping manage the children’s schedule and daily routines. Additionally, punctuality is critical – especially in the mornings – to help support the mom with getting the kids ready for school. Occasional coordination with vendors for household needs may also be required. The schedule is generally consistent but may require flexibility for morning routines, school drop-offs/pick-ups, and occasional schedule adjustments. The position involves driving (car provided) and dog care for three family dogs. The family has historically traveled over school breaks, during the summer, and for holidays (primarily to Minnesota) and seeks a nanny with the personal flexibility to join them as needed. Hourly/Salary:
35.-40.
