Nanny

Our client in Pasadena is looking for a full-time Nanny for four children, ages 10, 8, 7, and 4. The ideal candidate is flexible, energetic, kind, patient, and is looking for a long-term placement.

Duties include, but not limited to:

·          Look after the children always ensuring their safety and well-being

·          Assist with homework as needed

·          Plan and schedule activities to keep children engaged

·          Assist with pick-ups and drop-offs as needed (vehicle provided)

·          Run errands and buy groceries as directed (vehicle provided)

·          Assist mom with projects i.e.: photo organization, children’s birthday party prep, etc.

·          Have a “Jack of all trades” mentality to assist wherever needed (make a sandwich, throw in a load of laundry, light pick up and tidy after meals)

·          Prepare snacks and light meals for children

This is a full-time position:

·          Monday-Friday

·          10:30 am- 7 pm

·          Flexibility to work weekends when needed

Requirements:

·          Must have experience working with a family with three of more children

·          Flexibility on schedule changes

·          Available to work weekends, likely not every weekend, but must be available should the family need to attend the occasional event

·          Must have a good command of English, both written and spoken

·          Impeccable driving record

·          Physically able to keep up with kids and go up and down stairs (multi-level home), carry a child, etc.

·          Willing to travel with family if needed (typically to Palm Desert)

·          BA or BS degree (equivalent experience may be considered)

·          Candidate must be always polished and professional

·          Background in education, child development, or similar not required, but a huge plus

·          Must have excellent, verifiable past work references
